Local Security Selects Penticton for Network Operations Center
Local Security Connected VSOCs
Local Security connects virtual Surveillance Operations Centers around the world.
PENTICTON, British Columbia - December 6, 2022 - (Newswire.com)
Local Security has selected the city of Penticton in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, to begin construction on a state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC).
The NOC will be responsible for monitoring security operations locally and oversight of Local Security's network of connected Virtual Surveillance Operations Centers (VSOC) that are protecting communities around the world. All at a fraction of the cost of traditional security guards.
The green technology also benefits the environment, eliminating the carbon footprint that comes with mobile patrol vehicles driving from location to location in hopes of being in the "right place" at the "right time". Local Security-enabled video cameras are always watching and ensure that first responders can work more efficiently, eliminating drag on public services.
"Our highly trained security professionals have already processed millions of incidents, resulting in countless arrests and tens of millions of dollars in property crime prevented," says Adam Power, CEO of Local Security. "For businesses and municipalities looking to reduce losses while protecting their people and assets, it's an easy value proposition to add our services to their security portfolio."
Local Security's video monitoring ecosystem provides stakeholders with the tools they need to connect cameras to remote security guards and connects those guards to first responders anywhere in the world. Police, Ambulance, Fire, Bylaw, Private Security, Outreach Providers, and more can receive helpful information in real-time during an emergency. Guards can transmit data electronically to the first responder while maintaining visual overwatch during emergencies.
