The 5th Annual ApolloMD Emergency Medicine Scholarship for Residents is open. The program supports students pursuing a career in emergency medicine. Applications close June 15. The 2022 recipient will be announced in August.

Applicants must be:
- In good standing with an allopathic or osteopathic medical school (U.S.)
- Pursuing a career in Emergency Medicine
- Participating in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) or training in an Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
Other qualifying factors include scholarly achievements and leadership/membership in accredited medical societies/organizations.
The 2022 recipient will join these esteemed former winners who have all launched EM careers:
- 2021 — Dr. Travis Eurick earned both his bachelor's and medical degree from University of Southern California, and is currently a resident at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, CA.

- 2020 — Dr. Bassam Zahid earned his bachelor's degree from Boston College in Massachusetts and his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his residency with the Stony Brook University Department of Emergency Medicine in Stony Brook, NY.

- 2018 — Dr. Loren Touma earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida and her medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, MS.
