CALIFORNIAN LATINOS SUPPORT THE GAVIN NEWSOM RECALL
Over 2 million Californians signed the petition to recall Governor Gavin Newsom. Newsom, in many of his interviews, falsely claims the recall is being led by Trump supporters, radical Republicans, QAnon conspiracy theorists, white supremacists, and anti-vaxers. The Governor is wrong! Californians are tired of failed progressive policies that have driven our Golden State to the ground and is forcing thousands of lifelong residents to leave in a mass exodus. The Latino Community is tired of unaffordable living costs, increased homelessness, increased violent crime rates, and poor education. A Probolsky Research poll reported that 45% of Latinos support the recall. The California Republican National Hispanic Assembly (CARNHA) hears the community and stands alongside Latino voters. CARNHA will support recall efforts against Governor Gavin Newsom.
Robert Cervantes, the administrator with the state's Office of Migration Education, pointed out alarming statistics about Latinos in California Schools. Out of the 1 million Latinos students registered in Californian schools, only 23 % are proficient at grade level with a dropout rate of 45%. Instead of school choice, the state now introduces Critical Race Theory into the curriculum.
The Oakland Insight for Center Development states that 52% of Latinos cannot make ends meet. At the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, out of the 5 million Latinos living in Los Angeles County, 71% experienced serious financial hardships, according to a recent survey. In 2020, the Los Angeles Almanac reports that 36% of Latinos in Los Angeles County are homeless.
Governor Gavin Newsom failed the Latino Community, and a change must be made in Sacramento. Join CARNHA to assist the efforts in recalling Governor Gavin Newsom.
CARNHA is a state chapter of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly, an American grassroots political organization founded in 1967 which promotes Hispanic-American issues and interest.
