The arrival of Major League Soccer has plenty of people excited to check out the action on the pitch. But Austin FC, through its philanthropic efforts, aims to make an impact way beyond soccer. It's already donating hundreds of thousands of dollars providing mentoring to numerous young people in the city, before ever playing its first game.
