Pertaining to her educational background, Dr. DiMurro graduated from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. She then completed her graduate medical education from Seton Hall University and her AOA internship at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Thereafter, she went on to complete her residency in pediatrics at Columbia University at Morristown Memorial Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey.

As a testament to her success, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (AOBP). The mission of the AOBP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement. 

A member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. DiMurro is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
