Why Walmart is struggling in Japan

Walmart made headlines in July when the Nikkei Asian Review reported that the company was looking to sell its Japanese subsidiary, Seiyu. Walmart denied Nikkei's claim, but company filings show that it has closed more than 100 Seiyu stores in recent years.
