Addiction Resource Center in Yuba City, California has announced that its addiction treatment and rehab services now include TriCare approved intensive outpatient services.

Addiction Resource Center is pleased to be doing more to support active servicemen and women, given that they are more at risk for both addiction and concomitant trauma disorders. According to the Health Related Behaviors Survey (HRBS) published by the U.S. Department of Defense, binge drinking among active-duty military members is 8% higher than the general population. Similarly, the number of servicemen reporting heavy drinking was higher than in civilian ranks.

Addiction Resource Center’s IOP makes use of evidence-based treatments that have been proven to combat addiction. Combining individual therapy, group therapy, and family support, the program is designed to help servicemen overcome their addictions in a healthy manner.
