FluentStream Announces Two Key Hires to Drive Revenue Growth and Expand its Channel Community -
FluentStream, the fastest-growing unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) provider for small and mid-size organizations, today introduced its new Head of Corporate Development, Amber Tobias, and its new Director of Channel Success and Enablement, Kevin Beede. The two will be instrumental in navigating FluentStream's next phase of growth.
FluentStream was recently named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America for the fifth consecutive year. As Head of Corporate Development, Tobias is responsible for driving FluentStream's continued revenue growth and strategic partnerships.
“FluentStream's sophisticated communication services offering for small and mid-sized organizations presents a unique opportunity to grow our reach through strategic partnerships that will expand our footprint nationwide,” said Tobias. “I am excited to join a company with such a dedicated focus on its people, its partners, its customers and its community.”
Previously, Tobias served as Director of Corporate Development for Aspirion, a revenue cycle management (RCM) company. With her growth mindset, Tobias brings experience in financial planning and merger and acquisition integrations.
In addition to strategic partnerships, FluentStream credits its growth to its channel community. Last year, FluentStream experienced 200% year-over-year growth in its number of partners. The company is on track to achieve another milestone year in 2022, due to enhancements to its Partner Program announced earlier this year, which includes an industry-first commission Buyout Incentive Program.
As the Director of Channel Success and Enablement, Beede will leverage his 25 years' experience in the telecommunications industry to work with FluentStream's growing partner community to educate, evangelize and accelerate sales. Beede joins FluentStream from 8x8 where he served as a channel sales manager. His background also includes channel development, leadership, sales operations and M&A experience with AT&T, Avaya, Lumen Technologies, Mitel and ShoreTel.
“FluentStream's channel program revolves around providing an excellent partner experience from rapid response time to personalized onboarding to 24/7 support,” said Beede. “This is the type of infrastructure that makes FluentStream stand apart from the competition. It's an exciting time to join this company.”
In addition to its revenue growth, FluentStream has gained industry recognition for its corporate culture, service offering and channel program. The company won the 2022 Stevie Award for Great Employers, the CUSTOMER Voice Technology Excellence Award, Internet Telephony's Product of the Year, and ChannelVision Magazine named FluentStream the winner of the 2022 Channel Program of the Year Visionary Spotlight Award.
“FluentStream is expanding internally and externally, and our team is motivated to grow our company in ways that not only accelerate our growth but enhance the ways we can support all our stakeholders,” said Cass Gilmore, CEO, FluentStream. “We welcome Amber and Kevin to our team and look forward to learning from them and growing with them.”
