HQ Makes Two Key Hires to Commercial Team Amidst Strong Growth Driven by Rebound in Corporate Travel
HQ, the industry-leading corporate mobility platform, today announced the expansion of its commercial team with the hiring of Charity Rumery as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Susan Lichtenstein as its Vice President of Sales. The hires come after a year of immense growth for HQ, having grown 5x in revenue with a strong base of clients including some of the world's leading banks, law firms, and real estate firms.
Chief Revenue Officer - Charity Rumery
Charity Rumery joins HQ as CRO after spending more than 4 years as the General Manager of the AMER region at Here Technologies, a global mobility company integrated into more than 130 million vehicles.
“Charity has the leadership experience and proven track record in leading and growing companies and their commercial activity,” stated Amiad Solomon, chief executive officer, HQ. “The recent recovery of business travel, after a long pandemic, coupled with Charity's addition, will allow us to aggressively grow our reach in the coming months to further expand our corporate mobility offering.”
Since 2020, Charity has served also as a member of the Experiences Per Mile Advisory (EPM) Council, where she's been recognized as a leader in “Women Driven Mobility: Rethinking the Way the World Moves,” which highlights the contributions of women in the mobility sector.
“HQ has leveraged its technology to lead the disruption in the corporate ground transportation space providing travel managers with tools to easily manage their program and offer great options while staying on budget,” said Charity Rumery, chief revenue officer, HQ. “I am excited to join the team during this period and look forward to scaling the company's commercial reach across the United States.”
Vice President of Sales - Susan Lichtenstein
Incoming Vice President of Sales Susan Lichtenstein has spent decades in the corporate travel industry including 10 years at Cisco where she handled all international travel management.
“Susan is widely known as both a disruptor and innovator and we are excited she chose HQ as she is a true believer of HQ's ability to disrupt and transform the corporate ground transportation space,” said Amiad Solomon, Founder and CEO of HQ. “Susan's experience as a corporate buyer at a top technology company provides her with unique insight to the needs and requirements our clients face and will be a key asset in her role as a Vice President of Sales at HQ.”
Susan is a recipient of multiple awards recognizing her career achievements and contributions, including being named, for the third time, one of the Top 25 Influential Executives in 2020 by Business Travel News, Top 50 Women In Travel in 2021, and induction into The BTN Group Hall of Fame.
“HQ has a true ability to transform the corporate ground transportation space, with air and hotel booking going through tremendous innovation over the last few years, corporate ground transportation has now entered the microservices, omnichannel program” said Susan Lichtenstein, vice president of sales, HQ. “HQ's ability to provide companies with the combination of highly vetted car supplier options globally, and use of their preferred partners as well as, billing and invoice validation backend capabilities is the secret sauce of a ground travel program that travel managers love.
