Nine Minds is announcing their new open source PSA software for MSP companies. They will be unveiling Alga PSA, at IT Nation this week.

Nine Minds announced today the development of a fully free and open source PSA software. The software has been named Alga PSA and has a full suite of PSA features including ticketing, documentation storage, invoicing, project management, time tracking, client management, dispatch, and scheduling. While the code is available publicly on GitHub now, the company expects the fully fleshed out product to be ready for the market by the end of 2024.

The announcement comes just before the Super Bowl of IT industry events; IT Nation Connect 2024. Nine Minds will be there at booth 356 where attendees can expect an in-depth look at Alga PSA’s core features, insights into the roadmap, and, of course, live demos that showcase why Alga PSA stands out in the crowded field of PSA tools. This launch underscores Nine Minds’ commitment to empowering MSPs with tools that are open, adaptable, and poised for the future of AI-driven innovation in IT management.

Nine Minds began as an Artificial Intelligence startup located in Clearwater, FL. Initially, the company aimed to create AI add-ons for other popular MSP softwares. After extensive research and countless talks with MSP owners, Nine Minds determined in order to accomplish this task, they needed an open source PSA.

Nine Minds will be offering plus and pro versions of Alga PSA in the future, and plans to fully integrate their artificial intelligence models into the future, paid, versions of Alga PSA. For now, the free and open source code is available on their GitHub, and development is full steam ahead.
