Amino Balls Satisfy Consumer Interest in Nutrition and Health

Nutritious and Guilt-Free Plant-Based Amino Balls are Part of Functional Foods’ Popularity

(PRUnderground) March 29th, 2023

Amino Balls, a healthy and nutritious snack, are entering the U.S. market just as the popularity of functional foods is rising.

“More consumers today are searching for food and snacks that have ‘functional’ ingredients to make them healthier,” said Beata Antoninas, who founded Amino Snacks Inc., a Canadian health and wellness company. “Our plant-based Amino Balls are nutritious and great tasting, which consumers want.”

Healthline.com explains that functional foods are “highly nutritious and associated with a number of powerful health benefits.”

Amino Balls, which contain 8 grams of protein, 4 grams of sugar, and 6 grams of fiber, are perfect snacks for kids and after workouts.

“They have protein and fiber but are also low in sugar,” Antoninas said. “You don’t have to worry about raising your blood sugar levels.”

Antoninas said Amino Balls also are certified Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Pareve Kosher.

“There are many consumers who only eat gluten-free food,” she added. “People may not realize that many non-Vegan consumers also prefer to buy Vegan foods.”

Antoninas, a foodie, animal lover, and fitness enthusiast, created Amino Balls in her kitchen.

“I couldn’t find healthy and delicious snacks,” she said. “I worked out hard, but I had a sweet tooth, which would always get the best of me.”

Antoninas, a Holistic Nutritionist, decided she needed a plant-based snack high in protein and low in sugar.

“My search for a snack eventually turned into Amino Snacks,” she said. “People love Amino Balls in Canada, which is why we are expanding into the United States.”

Amino Snacks is rolling out Nut-Free Caramel and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Amino Balls in the U.S. later this year.

“We know many people have peanut allergies, especially children, which is why we chose to introduce our nut-free Amino Balls,” she said. “Parents can give them to their kids without any worry.”

Amino Snacks not only wants to help keep people healthy but also their four-legged furry friends. The company donates 1 percent of all sales to charities from Turks and Caicos that care for and rehabilitate homeless dogs.

“We are just trying to make the world healthier for everyone,” Antoninas said.
