Transported Audio Unveils New Video Game Dialogue Department and Expands Capabilities With Industry Veteran Paul Fonarev
BURBANK, Calif. - Oct. 10, 2023 - PRLog -- Transported Audio, a one-stop shop for post-production audio, has rapidly emerged as a prominent player in the entertainment industry. Founded by CEO Eric Marks in 2016 as a small in-home studio, Transported Audio has expanded exponentially, working on projects including Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, and NFL 360: The Indelible Legacy of Jimmy Raye. The company has maintained a great reputation for their work, offering sound design, sound editing, ADR, Foley, and mixing services for feature films, episodic content, ads, trailers, and video games. With a team of fast, creative, and detail-oriented storytellers, the company takes pride in tackling groundbreaking projects with a positive, can-do attitude.
Recently, Marks expanded the studio even further, creating the company's first-ever video game dialogue department. This led to work on Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, where they recorded and edited nearly all of the dialogue in the game. To enable their success in dialogue recording, the company just recently updated an ADR stage built specially for ADR and game dialogue. They also now offer new Dolby Atmos services.
To run this new game dialogue department, Transported Audio hired industry veteran Paul Fonarev. Paul has worked extensively in-game dialogue for fifteen years, with notable past credits including God of War: Ragnarok, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Ghost of Tsushima, Uncharted 4, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Prior to joining Transported Audio full-time, Paul was a game dialogue editor for Formosa Interactive, Soundelux Interactive, Pacific Audio Post, and Technicolor Interactive.
Marks brings over twelve years of experience as a Supervising Sound Editor to his team at Transported Audio. He specializes in crafting rich, dramatic mixes for esteemed clients such as Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Hulu, Lucasfilm, NFL, and WB. Eric's expertise has garnered recognition in the sound community, as his work has been nominated for five MPSE Golden Reel Awards. His journey in the audio industry began at Electronic Arts, where he mixed trailers for acclaimed titles including Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age II. Since then, Eric has been involved in various projects ranging from commercials to network TV shows, feature films, and video game trailers.
Formerly an Adjunct Professor at USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Eric's extensive film background emphasizes the importance of storytelling and dramatic stakes in each project he undertakes. He strives to give every production emotional context, weight, and resonance.
Transported Audio is strategically located in the heart of Burbank, California. The company's clientele includes prominent names like Prime Video, Netflix, Disney, Lucasfilm, NFL Network, EA, and PlayStation.
