OpenBots: First Enterprise RPA Platform With Zero-Bot Licensing
OpenBots Team
OpenBots celebrates its first anniversary being the first enterprise-RPA platform offering zero-bot licensing in the world.
New Jersey-based startup OpenBots Inc. is the first enterprise-grade RPA platform with zero-bot licensing.
OpenBots (OB) aims to democratize robotic process automation by making RPA more accessible and enabling businesses to scale their programs.
OpenBots Cloud Server is an excellent example of a zero-license RPA tool with usage-based orchestration that helps organizations become elastic and respond to market demands.
Zero-bot licensing allows companies to re-direct their budgets to developing, maintaining, and scaling processes — the original promise of RPA.
"Almost all RPA vendors charge you by the bot and then charge additional usage-based orchestration fees. When using OpenBots, you can build unlimited bots without any license fees, and you only pay for usage-based Cloud Orchestration," said OpenBots CEO Ashish Nangla.
The OpenBots development team is working continuously to update, upgrade, and enhance OpenBots Studio, Server, and other enterprise-grade automation tools.
The OpenBots Platform offers a robust suite of enterprise-grade RPA tools for both on-prem and cloud applications. It's built for mid to large enterprises looking to add hundreds of automations to their programs and also companies just starting with RPA.
It's also becoming a fantastic option for managed service providers to build industry-led automation solutions and monetize them without worrying about underlying per-bot license costs.
OpenBots Studio is equipped with full IntelliSense to assist users with customizing code commands using the C# programming language.
Studio also has native Chrome commands to automate through a provided extension with support using C# in loops/if commands and other commands for SAP, Cloud OCR, and UI Automation.
"Our team is always on the hunt for more useful features to add to the Studio. Our goal at the end of the day is to add commands that provide value to developers," said Cameron Herwig, OpenBots Product Development Lead.
OpenBots also offers Documents and Discovery tools to analyze and build automations with advanced Machine Learning and AI capabilities.
Document Understanding (DU) teaches automation bots to "read" structured, semi-structured, and unstructured forms of all kinds to then gather, sort, and digitize the collected information.
With OpenBots Documents, users can develop models and train their automations to process a variety of document types. The RPA tool classifies and extracts information and has a validation station or human-in-the-loop step to verify that the data is accurate. This allows for seamless end-to-end automation of a process involving forms and documents.
OpenBots has a heavy release schedule with new product launches planned out for the rest of the year and into 2022. Users can expect the automation capabilities to expand every few weeks.
