Eau Claire, Wisconsin – Nicolet Law Accident & Injury Lawyers is proud to highlight its growing bilingual team, which now includes attorney Mario Hernández, who was sworn into the State Bar of Wisconsin this summer. The firm is also recognizing two more of its attorneys: John M. Spiten, who was admitted to the Iowa bar in August, and Markus C. Yira, who has been named to the Minnesota Super Lawyers list every year since 2015.

Hernández is bilingual in English and Spanish, so Spanish-speaking clients and their families can talk through their case directly with their attorney. 

After a crash or a serious injury, a family is often dealing with medical bills, calls from an insurance company and legal deadlines all at once. For a family more comfortable in Spanish, being able to ask those questions in their own language can make each step of a claim easier to follow.

“Speaking to a client in their language removes a barrier between the client and attorney, making communication smoother across the life of a case,” said Hernández.

Spiten, a partner and personal injury attorney known across the region as Minnesota’s Injury Lawyer, was sworn into the Iowa bar in August. His admission allows him to represent injured people in Iowa, where Nicolet Law has offices.

Yira, the firm’s legal support strategy counsel and mentor trainer, has been selected to the Minnesota Super Lawyers list for 12 consecutive years, from 2015 through 2026. He practices from the firm’s New Richmond Wis., office, where he also trains Nicolet Law’s paralegals and legal assistants in how cases are documented and prepared.
