Rock the Block, the hit HGTV renovation showdown series, returns for its fifth season and this time, they're bringing the competition to the Pirate Ship Royal Conquest! 

Sunshine Scenic Tours' very own Pirate Ship Royal Conquest will feature in the series as the stars roll out to Treasure Island for challenges set along the coast of beautiful Boca Ciega Bay. The HGTV crew filmed aboard the pirate ship in November, with their very own pirate crew watching in anticipation of seeing the final product on live television.

Dustin O'Neal, Sunshine Scenic Tours Business Owner and Pirate Captain, said that having the crew on board the Royal Conquest was an honor.

“It was a great experience! We enjoyed watching the process and being part of it,” said O'Neal. “We are long time fans of the show and are very excited to be featured in season five.”

Each team will have just six weeks and a budget of $250,000 to renovate attached waterfront homes, each featuring a pool, boat dock and dazzling views of Boca Ciega Bay, and transform them into luxurious homes that reflect their signature vision and stunning design style.

“This season’s expert teams know what it takes to compete on the block, so we’ll keep them on their toes and crank up the intensity with unexpected new challenges. Our stars are ready for a rematch and won’t hold back to win it all," said Loren Ruch, head of content, HGTV.

The Pirate Ship Royal Conquest is a 46-foot replica of a historic Galleon ship, the very same used by infamous pirates during the Golden Age of Piracy. Departing daily from John's Pass Village & Boardwalk in Madeira Beach, Florida, the Royal Conquest serves as the hottest spot for family-friendly adventure featuring a crew of real pirates.

Along with the Royal Conquest, Sunshine Scenic Tours explores Boca Ciega Bay aboard the eco-educational Dolphin Quest and the exhilarating Shark Boat.
