Contemporary Art Projects Will Return to Art Santa Fe for Its 11th Participation
Crowning the Santa Fe Art Week celebration, Art Santa Fe-Santa Fe's only contemporary fine-art fair-brings collectors and art fans from around the country from July 15-17|2023 to enjoy a dizzying array of exhibits, installations, art talks, and live artwork demonstrations. More than sixty national and international galleries showcase hundreds of artists and their work.
"Our goal is to present the expansion of the human mind through Art, as an unlimited source of imagery, depictions, thoughts, and feelings, endless and infinite, as it is the Universe in which we live, either the real one, or the one fulfilled by the magical visions that artists create while depicting it," said Tata Fernandez, Director of the gallery.
The gallery will be returning exhibiting Textile Art with Special Installation "The African Spirit" is a pop art-inspired metaphor for the cultural colonization of Africa. The overall impression of the piece is that of a colorful, pop artinspired textile mural, reminiscent of Fazzino's monumental JFK installations by Andre Paul Croteau/USA and "Purple Jazz" by SUTTON/Mexico presented at the lobby of the fair and at the booth.
The Booth will present a group of national and international artists as Carola Orieta-Sperman/Argentina/USA with her hand-made sculptures using thermal method, Evangeline Ang/Singapore, Hande Ugur aka Handy Queen/Turkey, Kristy Lee/USA, Alea Pinar Du Pre/Turkey, Sara Wight/USA, Dale Reid/Canada, Lucienne Toledo/Peru-USA, Maggy Grant/USA, Merrill Steiger/USA, Nana S.R. Tinley/UK-Vienna, Tatyana Zaytseva/Russia-USA, Diana Vurnbrand/ Peru-USA, Wuilfredo Soto/Venezuela-USA, Sofia Chiticov/Russia-USA, and Leo Di Tomaso/Italy-USA.
