Element U.S. Space & Defense, a trusted provider of testing services for the space and defense sectors, announced today that it has successfully achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2, affirming its ability to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.

CMMC Level 2 certification verifies that Element U.S. Space & Defense has implemented the full set of cybersecurity practices aligned with NIST Special Publication 800‑171, and that these controls have been validated through an independent third‑party assessment. The assessment was conducted by C3PAO auditor Forvis Mazars. This certification reflects Element U.S. Space & Defense’s ongoing investments in cybersecurity governance, secure infrastructure, incident response capabilities, and employee training. These efforts ensure that sensitive program data, customer information, and intellectual property remain protected against evolving cyber threats.

“Achieving CMMC Level 2 certification is a significant accomplishment for our organization and an important assurance for our customers,” said John Radman, Chief Administrative Officer at Element U.S. Space & Defense. “It confirms that we have the people, processes, and technologies in place to protect CUI and to meet the DoW’s most stringent cybersecurity expectations.”

Element U.S. Space & Defense supports aerospace, space, and defense organizations throughout the product lifecycle, providing critical testing services that enable safe, compliant, and mission‑ready systems. CMMC Level 2 certification further enhances Element U.S. Space & Defense’s ability to serve customers operating in highly regulated and secure environments.
