Newport Specialty Partners (“Newport”), a specialty insurance platform focused on partnering with high-quality MGAs and program administrators, today announced the appointment of Stephen Ciarrocchi, CIC, as Head of Strategic Partnerships.

In this role, Ciarrocchi will lead Newport’s strategic partnership and growth initiatives, with a focus on identifying and building relationships with high-quality specialty insurance businesses that could benefit from partnering with Newport. He will also work alongside Newport’s partner companies to support organic growth, including distribution development, new business opportunities and strategic relationships across the specialty insurance market.

Ciarrocchi brings nearly three decades of insurance industry experience spanning sales & distribution, business development, carrier relationships, and specialty insurance. Most recently, he served as Head of Business Development at CIBA Insurance Services, where he was responsible for business development strategy, broker relationships, and growth initiatives.

Previously, Ciarrocchi held senior leadership roles with Falls Lake Insurance, Zurich Insurance, Ally Financial, and Brown & Brown. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive relationships across the insurance industry, with a focus on creating new business opportunities, expanding distribution and helping insurance organizations execute strategic growth initiatives.

Ciarrocchi holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Philadelphia University and has completed executive education programs at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
