Recognized for its integrated hardware, intelligent software, and thoughtful design in the Home Office/Productivity category.

beflo, a design and technology company developing connected workspace systems, today announced that its flagship Tenon Smart Adjustable Desk has been named a winner of the inaugural 2026 Forbes Vetted Smart Home Awards in the Home Office/Productivity category.

Announced September 24, the awards recognize 50 products across seven categories for their use of technology to improve everyday life. Forbes Vetted evaluated products through research, expert interviews, and hands-on testing, considering usability, app integration, design, security, and future-proofing.

More Than a Standing Desk

Tenon reimagines the standing desk as a connected workspace system, integrating hardware, software, sensing, and control into one platform.

Powered by beflo's proprietary Tenon OS, the desk features four-motor height adjustment, built-in posture and usage sensors, and an integrated touchscreen. Its companion app enables lighting control, personalized settings, activity scheduling, and workspace usage tracking. Firmware updates allow the system to evolve after purchase.

"We didn't start beflo to make a better desk," said Beico Chiu, Founder and CEO of beflo. "We started with the belief that the workspace itself needed to be reconsidered. Tenon brings together the physical environment and the technology behind it, creating a system designed to adapt as the way we work continues to evolve."

The award joins Tenon's previous distinctions, including TIME Best Inventions 2024, iF Design Award 2024, German Design Award 2024, and Japan's Good Design Award 2023.

Designed and manufactured in Taiwan, Tenon is available internationally at gobeflo.com.
