Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) today announced that it has appointed Simeon Seamer to lead its builder’s risk business in the U.S. in addition to his current role leading builder’s risk in the UK.

“Sim has done a tremendous job building our UK builder’s risk business and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new U.S. leadership responsibilities,” said Gregory Freeman, Head of Property, North America, BHSI. “I look forward to working with him in his expanded role as we continue to build out our builder’s risk business in the U.S.”

Sim joined BHSI in 2019 as Head of Property Construction, UK and Ireland. He has 25 years of experience in the construction and reinsurance industries. Throughout his career, he has worked on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the U.S. and Europe.
