Nihon Kohden Showcases Comprehensive Monitoring and Digital Health Solutions at ASA’s Anesthesiology Annual Meeting

Precision, Integration and Clinical Insight Take Center Stage at ASA Booth #649

Nihon Kohden, a provider of precision patient monitoring and diagnostic systems with over six decades of expertise and a presence in the majority of the top 50 U.S. hospitals, will participate in the Anesthesiology Annual Meeting presented by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) from October 10 to 14, 2025 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX. Attendees can visit Nihon Kohden at booth #649 to explore its latest integrated monitoring and digital health solutions across the perioperative continuum, including technologies developed in close collaboration with anesthesiology clinicians, with features specifically designed to support their workflows and the unique demands of patient care in the operating room.

“Our mission is to deliver solutions that move with the patient and with the clinician – enabling continuity, insight and safety in every phase of care,” said Roy Sakai, President of Nihon Kohden America. “At this year’s ASA, we’re proud to present how our systems combine precision monitoring with interoperable, data-driven tools that help clinicians make smarter decisions with less workflow friction.”

Nihon Kohden will feature three dedicated stations, at booth #649, each demonstrating how its technologies streamline data, mobility and clinical visibility to support clinicians and optimize patient care:

  • Station 1: Digital Health Solutions – At the heart of Nihon Kohden’s presence is its Digital Health Platform (DHP), a suite of technologies designed to transform patient data into meaningful clinical insight. Attendees will see how DHP helps enable seamless interoperability across hospital IT systems, telehealth integration and secure, real-time data sharing among care teams. Its intuitive DHP Viewer allows clinicians to access, analyze and filter large volumes of patient information with ease, offering a comprehensive view of vital signs and trends that remain available in perpetuity. Featured technologies include RemoteSense, AlarmSense and the Digital Health Platform itself.
  • Station 2: Monitoring from Pre-Op through PACU – Nihon Kohden’s next station highlights the company’s ability to simplify the entire perioperative process with monitoring solutions that move automatically with the patient; no manual reconnection or reconfiguration required. Demonstrations will showcase how the company’s “One Monitor, One Discharge” concept where consistent monitoring from pre-op through recovery reduces clinician workload while preventing critical data loss during patient transitions. Products on display include Life Scope G5, Life Scope G5 Max, BSM-1700 and NMT Pod.
  • Station 3: Advanced OR Systems & Integrated Devices – Visitors will experience the company’s Life Scope G7 monitor, which offers dual-screen flexibility and physician-specific configurations tailored for diverse surgical workflows. Alongside this, Nihon Kohden’s NMT Pod provides integrated EMG (electromyography), which enhances neuromuscular blockade monitoring, feeding critical data into existing monitors for greater efficiency. The station also features the Neuromaster G1, which supports intraoperative neurological monitoring to help clinicians make real-time, informed decisions in the operating room.

Attendees are encouraged to visit booth #649 to explore live demonstrations of these innovative technologies purpose-built to enhance patient safety and care efficiency.
