UBS hires Private Wealth Advisors in Philadelphia
UBS today announced that two Private Wealth Advisor teams will join the firm in Philadelphia. One team is led by Private Wealth Advisor Charles Lynch and the other team is led by Private Wealth Advisors Elijah Dornstreich and Ryan DePaul.
At the conclusion of their respective notice periods, Charles, Elijah and Ryan, who collectively manage roughly $1.7 billion in assets, will join the Philadelphia D.C. market, managed by Market Executive Julie Fox, and will be located in the firm’s Philadelphia office at 1735 Market Street.
“We are proud to expand our team in Philadelphia, which is a growing and productive region for our business,” said Julie Fox, Philadelphia D.C. Market Executive at UBS Private Wealth Management. “Charles, Elijah and Ryan have decades of experience in the industry and we are confident that they will provide excellent value to clients and strengthen our commitment to serving the needs of high net worth and ultra high net worth families and individuals.”
Charles advises high net worth families, business owners, athletes and nonprofit organizations on investment matters. He will join UBS from Bernstein Private Wealth Management, and has previously held senior roles at S.S. White, a global manufacturing firm, and at Surgical Laser Technologies, a medical device firm. Charles holds a BA and an MBA from Clemson University, where he played football. He also played in the NFL for two seasons and is a member of the NFL Alumni and NFL Players Association. He is fluent in Spanish and basic Mandarin Chinese.
Joining Charles is Senior Wealth Strategy Associate Frank Ruggiano.
Elijah will also join from Bernstein Private Wealth Management, and he specializes in advising business owners and families on financial planning and investment matters, with a focus on pre-transaction planning. Prior to joining Bernstein in 2011, Elijah was a founder of Capital Business Partners, a boutique lending firm for small business owners. He is also a former founder and CEO of a middle market financial services and real estate company. Elijah holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and serves on the Executive Committee of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Ryan advises high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, and corporate executives on all aspects of wealth planning, including strategic asset allocation, wealth transfer, and charitable giving. He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designations. Ryan holds a BA from Wake Forest University and an MS from Villanova University.
Joining Elijah and Ryan are Senior Wealth Strategy Associates Michaela O’Connell and Jack Ramirez.
UBS is committed to investing in the Philadelphia region.
