RGA Leaders Of Tomorrow 2023 Award Winners Announced: Recipients Spotlight Leadership, Sustainable Investment and the Protection Gap
The International Insurance Society (IIS) has named Felicia Er of MSIG Asia the RGA Leaders of Tomorrow 2023 award winner for her original research Empathetic Leadership. The paper is an in-depth exploration of the path to gender diversity in the corporate landscape. Honorable mentions include Joyce Liow of Milliman for her paper Embracing Sustainable Investment and Joseph Strathman of Transamerica for Closing the Need Gap: Connecting with the Underserved Population Segments.
Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA), a leading global life and health reinsurer, is a 2023 Global Insurance Forum Gold Partner and the sponsor of the RGA Leaders of Tomorrow. The program is designed to support and motivate insurance professionals who have demonstrated executive leadership potential. Participants work with senior executive mentors to examine strategic issues, explore opportunities for deeper engagement across core business functions, and expand global peer connections.

Since its inception in 2015, the RGA Leaders of Tomorrow program has included a total of 76 candidates from 16 countries. As part of the program, mentees present original papers during a closed session of top tier global insurance executives who serve as mentors for the program. The papers, covering a range of critical industry issues, are published by the IIS and can be accessed here. This year, the 2023 RGA Leaders of Tomorrow honored candidates, Felicia Er, Joyce Liow and Joseph Strathman, will present at the Global Insurance Forum in Singapore, Nov. 5-7.
