Evercore (NYSE: EVR) announced today that Jason Fournier has joined the Firm’s Investment Banking business as a Senior Managing Director in its Equity Capital Markets (ECM) practice. He is based in Menlo Park, CA and will lead and expand Evercore's Consumer & Retail ECM business.

Mr. Fournier joins from JPMorgan, where he previously led the Consumer & Retail ECM practice, and served in senior roles in Technology ECM, Equity Private Placements and Technology & Disruptive Consumer Commercial Banking. Over his twenty-year career, he has focused on structuring and marketing IPOs, follow-ons, convertibles and private placements, working with emerging high-growth companies as well as well-established incumbents.
