The RMR Group Earns 2022 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award for the Fourth Consecutive Year
Program Recognizes Superior Energy Achievements
Achieves Sustained Excellence Designation for Second Year in a Row
The RMR Group Inc. (Nasdaq: RMR) today announced that it received the 2022 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award for ENERGY STAR related activities at buildings it manages on behalf of its clients for the fourth consecutive year. RMR was also recognized as an ENERGY STAR® Sustained Excellence honoree for the second consecutive year. Currently, RMR manages 70 buildings that are ENERGY STAR certified.
Additionally, as a result of RMR’s energy management and stakeholder engagement programs developed to help its clients achieve their environmental goals, Office Properties Income Trust (Nasdaq: OPI), an RMR client, also received the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award in 2022 for the fifth consecutive year and as a Sustained Excellence honoree for the third consecutive year.
The ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award recognizes ENERGY STAR partner businesses and organizations in good standing that demonstrate superior leadership, innovation, and commitment to environmental protection through energy efficiency and ENERGY STAR. The Sustained Excellence award is the highest honor bestowed by the ENERGY STAR program and winners are part of a distinguished group that has made a long-term commitment to fighting climate change and protecting public health through energy efficiency.
