Leading LA agency recognized for sustainability and nonprofit sector campaigns

Olmstead Williams Communications (OWC), a top reputation management and public relations agency, today announced it took home top honors in two categories at the prestigious Public Relations Society of America - Los Angeles’ (PRSA-LA) 2021 PRism Awards. The agency won in the Events & Observances, Not-For-Profit category for its work with Saban Community Clinic and in the Events & Observances, Corporate/Business, Sustainability/Environmental category for its work with Alen at a gala in Santa Monica, Calif.

The awards recognized OWC’s media and business development campaign for Alen Corp., a 15-year leader in high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) air purification solutions and Consumer Reports’ #1-rated air purifier, and its mission for clean, shared air as schools returned to in-person learning in LA. Alen connected with Larchmont Charter School to install air purifiers around its Lafayette Park campus and set the benchmark for air purification in schools. OWC also worked with Saban Community Clinic, a federally qualified health center that supports more than 116,000 annual patient visits from low-income and uninsured families, to bring awareness and coverage to their immunization drive for families before the start of the school year.

This is OWC’s 15^th PRism Award and its fourth consecutive year taking home top honors. PRSA-LA’s 57th Annual PRism Awards is the Los Angeles region’s premier awards program that recognizes excellence in public relations strategic campaigns, tactical programs, and professional merit. The winners were selected by an independent panel of judges from the West Virginia Chapter of PRSA.
