Strategic hires bolster personal injury practice in Illinois and Indiana

CHICAGO, IL / ACCESS Newswire / August 26, 2025 / McCready Law is strengthening its presence across the Midwest with the addition of three attorneys, reinforcing the firm's growing litigation practice. The new hires bring a wealth of experience in personal injury, appellate advocacy, and trial litigation, positioning the firm for continued success in complex cases.

In Chicago, Alexa Whalen joins the firm as an associate attorney. She previously practiced family law and now focuses on representing injury victims in personal injury cases. Whalen earned her law degree from the University of Illinois - Chicago School of Law with a concentration in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. She is licensed to practice in Illinois.

Also joining the Chicago office is Allison "Alli" Golisch, whose legal career includes appellate public defense and arguing constitutional issues before the Illinois Appellate Court. An Emory University School of Law graduate with high honors, Golisch is a Chicago native returning to serve her home community.

In Indiana, Maria Ferrara transitions from a law clerk position to join the team as an associate attorney. She earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Cleveland State University and her J.D. from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. Ferrara is licensed to practice in Indiana and plans to expand into other states.
