Marquis Who's Who Honors Paul A. Arrendell with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award

UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / November 25, 2025 / Honored with the 2024 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, Paul A. Arrendell brings more than three decades of experience in engineering, operations, and quality and regulatory leadership to his role as chief quality officer at Jabil. He drives enterprise-wide quality and regulatory operations across the company's global footprint, overseeing systems, compliance and improvement initiatives supporting Jabil's three business sectors-connected living and digital commerce, intelligent infrastructure, and regulated industries-along with its global support functions and centers of excellence.

Working closely with customers, partners, and regulators across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, Mr. Arrendell leads global quality and compliance strategies that ensure Jabil meets stringent international standards while enabling innovation across health care, automotive, industrial and technology markets. By aligning enterprise systems with evolving market and regulatory expectations, he reinforces Jabil's reputation for reliability, compliance and operational performance.

Educational Foundation and Early Career

Mr. Arrendell's professional journey is rooted in engineering and a lifelong commitment to quality and regulatory excellence. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he began his career as a co-op engineer and a graduate research assistant.

After completing his master's in 1991, he joined the U.S. Department of Energy leadership development program, gaining early exposure to large-scale engineering and project management. He then advanced through roles in the semiconductor and automotive industries, broadening his expertise in design, manufacturing, and quality operations. He subsequently joined Abbott Diagnostics, progressing into leadership positions in supply chain, operations, and quality.

He later held executive quality and regulatory roles at Wright Medical Technology, KCI Medical, and Becton Dickinson, where he honed expertise in global quality systems and regulatory affairs-laying the foundation for his enterprise leadership at Jabil.

Global Quality and Regulatory Leadership

Since joining Jabil in 2019, Mr. Arrendell has advanced initiatives that strengthened the company's global quality and regulatory capabilities. As chief quality officer for Jabil Regulated Industries, he elevated compliance and operational performance across health care, life sciences and medical device sectors.

In 2025, he became enterprise chief quality officer, assuming responsibility for all three of Jabil's business sectors. Today, he directs programs that integrate product design assurance, supplier quality management, operations quality and enterprise improvement systems, delivering consistent, scalable excellence.

Tracking Trends and Market Dynamics

Mr. Arrendell actively monitors global trends shaping product quality and innovation. Among key developments, he highlights the growth of GLP-1 agonists-therapeutics originally designed for diabetes that now play a major role in weight management-alongside innovations in connected health, home diagnostics and personalized care technologies.

He also champions artificial intelligence (AI) and digital analytics, which are transforming quality and regulatory management. Under his leadership, Jabil leverages AI-driven tools to enhance predictive quality, process efficiency, and data-based decision-making. By embedding automation and analytics into enterprise systems, the company anticipates risks, reduces variability, and accelerates time-to-market-while maintaining rigorous global compliance.

"These technologies," he notes, "help us not only meet expectations but predict and prevent problems before they occur. That is how you build sustainable quality in an increasingly complex world."

Servant Leadership and Communication

Throughout his more than three-decade career, Mr. Arrendell credits his success to a servant-leadership mindset and the power of communication. He leads with empathy, trust, and transparency-principles that inspire resilient, high-performing teams.

"I always think about what I can do to help people," he says. "That philosophy of leading through service and support is really important-because you want people to succeed as much as you have, or even more. When you help others be successful, you elevate the entire organization."

He believes communication drives engagement and innovation. "If you do not explain the reasons behind a decision, people might follow your direction, but they will not be engaged. When you provide context and listen to input, they will bring better ideas and stronger solutions."

He credits such mentors as Steve Robertson and Claude Crawford for modeling humility, integrity and the importance of supporting others. This approach underpins Jabil's collaborative quality culture, which values diversity of thought, inclusion and shared accountability across its operations.

Recognition, Service and Professional Involvement

Mr. Arrendell's professional contributions extend beyond his corporate role. He is an active member of the American Society for Quality, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Pi Tau Sigma, the International Mechanical Engineering Honor Society dedicated to fostering integrity, leadership and service within the profession.

He also serves on the board of advisors for the dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington and participated in AdvaMed, a leading medical technology association. In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Arrendell has long valued creative expression and collaboration-participating in choral music through various churches, singing with the Rhodes Master Singers during his time in Memphis, Tennessee, and leading choirs and musical groups along the way.

Legacy and Vision

Throughout a career spanning engineering, manufacturing, operations, and enterprise quality and regulatory leadership, Mr. Arrendell continues to shape the future of innovation and compliance across global industries. He mentors emerging leaders to approach their work with curiosity, integrity and purpose.

Looking ahead, he aims to expand his impact through corporate and advisory board roles, sharing insights from a career dedicated to advancing quality, compliance, and leadership. Reflecting on his journey, he finds the greatest fulfillment in building teams and systems that enable innovation, ensure reliability and make a lasting difference worldwide
