SPEC Announces Its Latest Generation of ADEP MicroEW Products
Disrupt, Deny, Deceive
AUSTIN, TX / ACCESSWIRE / August 20, 2024 / SPEC (Systems & Processes Engineering Corporation) is pleased to announce the availability of the ADEPTM 5000 Intelligent EW Engagement System, the latest addition to the ADEPTM MicroEW family of hardened, single module onboard EW products for comprehensive, intelligent EW engagements, airborne threat simulation, and range solutions.
5th Generation and Beyond Radar EW Response. SPEC has completed qualification of its ADEPTM 5000 Intelligent EW engine, the world's most capable off-the-shelf 5th Generation and beyond operational EW solution. This hardened single 3U/VPX module can be configured with multiple synchronous channels for broad spectrum, simultaneous engagements and is a drop-in, retrofit for existing airborne platforms, drones and UAVs.
Advanced Blocks - Direct RF and Versal AI. These newest additions to the ADEPTM family includes a range of RF/microwave transceivers/antenna packages and a Versal AI/ML intelligent engine upgrade, tailored to customer specifications. Full spectrum instantaneous coverage from DC to 40 GHz with Direct RF conversion modules available during 2025. The ADEPTM 5000 is available with adjustable instantaneous bandwidths (IBW) for threat responsive signal detection, classification, identification, and engagement. Equipped with advanced TRL-9 algorithms and up to 16 independent target DRFM kernels, the ADEPTM 5000 provides advanced multi-band, high resolution, kinematically correct multiple false targets with correlated spectral features as well as an extensive library of modern non-coherent EW techniques.
EW Mission Programming Station. All ADEPTM 5000 systems are supported by the ADEPTM Mission Programming Station for "in the field" threat responsive scenario development and Mission Data File (MDF) programming. The Mission Programming Station is composed of GUI, API, and mission planning software for development and uploading of MDFs pre-mission and in-mission.
Multiple Simultaneous Engagements. ADEPTM 5000 can track multiple radar pulses and provide advanced countermeasures techniques for platform and force protection. The ADEP 5000 can be configured for up to 16 independent processing kernels (with up to 256 false targets per kernel) for multi-mission operations, fluidly integrating ES, EA and EP capabilities for simultaneous engagements of multiple radars and for generation of complex RF scenes.
SPEC is based in Austin, Texas. SPEC products include a portfolio of cutting edge, commercialized electronic warfare ("EW") products, based upon its "critical national asset ADEPTM technology", essential to rapidly evolving mission requirements for transparently integrated EW, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance ("ISR"), and spectrum management solutions. Among its capabilities to address these markets, SPEC offers the world's most advanced, operationally proven integrated EW, SIGINT and spectrum management solutions, tactical Digital Radio Frequency Memory ("DRFM") products, EW environment and radar simulators, and complex radio frequency ("RF") scene generators.
