Hacienda Heights, CA - October 10, 2025 - Prime Medical Evaluators (PME) proudly announces the addition of Dr. Nikolaus Noriega, D.C., an accomplished chiropractor with extensive clinical and academic experience, to its distinguished network of Qualified Medical Evaluators (QMEs). Dr. Noriega brings a strong foundation in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and patient care, further strengthening PME’s mission to provide exceptional expertise within California’s workers’ compensation and medical-legal systems.

Education and Licensure

Dr. Noriega earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences (2015), following a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University (2012). He has been a licensed chiropractor in California since March 2016 and holds an active Qualified Medical Evaluator certification in Chiropractic, issued by the California Department of Industrial Relations (2024).

Clinical Experience

Throughout his career, Dr. Noriega has served diverse patient populations across Southern California. He established and operated Noriega Chiropractic Clinic, Inc. in Huntington Park, CA (2016–2022), delivering comprehensive patient care with an emphasis on evidence-based chiropractic practices, rehabilitation, and injury recovery. He currently practices at El Monte Injury Center and Joc Doc Chiropractic in Hacienda Heights, CA, providing advanced care for patients recovering from occupational injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and sports-related injuries.

Certifications and Professional Credentials

Dr. Noriega holds a Radiography X-Ray Supervisor and Operator Permit issued by the California Department of Public Health. In 2025, he became a Certified Medical Examiner through the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners, enabling him to conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and provide critical insight into injury causation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation.

Leadership and Academic Achievements

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Noriega co-founded and served as Vice President of Rehabilitation 2 Performance (2012–2015), an initiative integrating sports medicine and rehabilitation strategies to optimize patient recovery and performance. His academic excellence was recognized with placement on the Dean’s List at Southern California University of Health Sciences (2015), underscoring his commitment to scholarship and clinical excellence.
