Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 6, 2005, Lennox Industries Inc. (the Company), a subsidiary of Lennox
International Inc., announced that it has entered into a new collective bargaining agreement with
The International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America
(the UAW) with respect to the Companys Marshalltown, Iowa manufacturing facility. The Companys
former agreement with the UAW relating to the Marshalltown facility expired by its terms on October
31, 2004.
