DTE Energy Company (“DTE Energy”) is furnishing the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) the financial statements for its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Michigan Consolidated Gas Company, for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. The financial statements were posted to DTE Energy’s website at www.dteenergy.com on May 12, 2010. The financial statements are also furnished as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
