(Helsinki, Finland, February 4, 2004) - Metso Corporations (NYSE: MX; HEX: MEO) Board of Directors has today appointed Jorma Eloranta, Metsos new President and CEO, the Chairman of Metsos Executive Board as of March 1, 2004. In addition, he was appointed as Chairman of Metsos Business Area Boards in Metso Paper, Metso Minerals, Metso Automation and Metso Ventures. |
Metsos Executive Vice President and CFO Olli Vaartimo was appointed Vice Chairman of Metsos Executive Board and Business Area Boards from the beginning of March 2004. |
