Cash and Short-Term Investments
Cash and short-term investments amounted to approximately $618 million on March 31, 2002.
Nonoperating Income
The Company expects to record $2.3 million of nonoperating income in the first quarter 2002 from an insurance settlement and gain on disposition of Equant N.V. stock.

Income Tax Rate
The Company anticipates using a 35.7% effective income tax rate for first quarter 2002.
