Other Events
On January 26, 2016, Chemical Financial Corporation (“Chemical”) and Talmer Bancorp, Inc. (“Talmer”) issued a joint press release announcing the execution of an Agreement and Plan of Merger providing for the merger of Talmer with and into Chemical (the “Merger”). Beginning on February 11, 2016, senior management of Chemical will begin meeting with certain analysts and institutional investors to discuss the Merger, and will provide the slide presentation attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1, which is here incorporated by reference.
Additional Information about the Transaction
This communication is being made in respect of the Merger involving Talmer and Chemical. This communication does not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy any securities or a solicitation of any vote or approval.
