Anworth Mortgage Asset Corporation (“Anworth”) announced today that Mr. Charles H. Black, one of its founding Directors, passed away on April 19, 2014.  As previously announced, Mr. Black was not standing for re-election to Anworth’s Board of Directors at its 2014 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr. Lloyd McAdams, Anworth’s Chief Executive Officer, stated, “It has been a great pleasure working with and learning from Chuck Black during the past 16 years. His great breadth of knowledge and experience in both the world of finance and as a public company director will be greatly missed.”
