          On November 11, 2011, Strayer Education, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has agreed to acquire the Jack Welch Management Institute.  A copy of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is hereby incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
