TECK COMINCO LIMITED ANNOUNCES MOODYS RATINGS REVIEW EXPECTATION THAT Baa2 RATINGS WILL BE CONFIRMED WITH STABLE OUTLOOK
Teck Cominco Limited announced today that, in connection with its announced takeover bid for Inco Limited, Moodys Investors Service has issued a press release stating that Teck Comincos ratings are under review for possible downgrade. Moodys release states that if the proposed transaction closes on the terms announced by Teck Cominco, Moodys expects that Teck Comincos Baa2 ratings will be confirmed with a stable outlook.
