Geron Announces Conference Call to Discuss Financial Results for the 2009 First Quarter

Geron Corporation (Nasdaq:GERN) will announce its financial results for the 2009 first quarter on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, after the closing of the equity market. Thomas B. Okarma, Ph.D., M.D., Geron’s president and chief executive officer, and David L. Greenwood, Geron’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, will host a conference call for analysts and investors on Thursday, April 30 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time, 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
