Geron to Present at BIO CEO & Investor Conference

Geron Corporation (Nasdaq:GERN) today announced that Thomas B. Okarma, Ph.D., M.D., president and chief executive officer, will present an update of the company’s product development programs at 11:30 a.m. ET on Monday, February 9, 2009, at the 11th Annual BIO CEO & Investor Conference in New York City.

The presentation will review Geron’s portfolio of anti-cancer therapies, including its telomerase inhibitor drug (GRN163L) and its telomerase therapeutic vaccine (GRNVAC1). The update will also include information about the company’s human embryonic stem cell (hESC) development programs for spinal cord injury (GRNOPC1) and its second generation cancer immunotherapy (GRNVAC2).
