The shares of Dollar Tree Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR) have added roughly 5% this afternoon, gapping higher following the company’s positive earnings report. Before the open this morning, the firm boasted that its third-quarter profit climbed to $43.1 million, or 47 cents per share, compared to its year-ago profit of $35.9 million, or 38 cents per share. Sales during the 3-month period jumped 11.6% to $1.11 billion. Analysts had predicted a profit of 44 cents per share and sales of $1.1 billion. But that's not the only good news from DLTR!
