Southeast Phoenix, Ariz. – Express Employment Professionals of Southeast Phoenix is partnering with Harvest Compassion Center to help provide toys for children in need within the Phoenix community. The local staffing agency helped launch the toy drive on November 1st and will end the toy drive on December 24th.

The toy drive is currently accepting unwrapped toys for children of all ages. For those not sure what to buy, they can check out the online gift registry on Amazon. To give toys to as many families as possible, the center will begin toy distribution to families in need on December 1st.  

In addition to donating toys, Express Southeast Phoenix and Harvest Compassion Center need volunteers to assist in distributing the donated toys. The center has developed a weekly schedule to help volunteers easily select a time to contribute to the toy drive. The center also accepts online cash donations, which go directly to purchasing toys for children in need. Along with toy donations, clothing and food donations are always welcome as continued support for the families in need.

Over the years, the toy drive has achieved great success. During last year's toy drive alone, the Harvest Compassion Center distributed over 10,000 new toys to kids who may not otherwise have had Christmas gifts. This year Express Southeast Phoenix jumped in to help, hoping to see an increase in donations as more families in the community are struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic.
