Kaifa Metering’s LoRa-enabled meters offer the ability to monitor a building’s utility usage in real time. The data collected by the LoRa-enabled sensors is analyzed for trends and changes are made to reduce wasted utility consumption, resulting in cost savings on a monthly utility bill. Kaifa Metering customers have seen savings up to 25% after leveraging the LoRa-enabled metering solutions.

The meters work by using embedded LoRa Technology to connect to the LoRaWAN-based network. The LoRa-enabled meters communicate through the LoRaWAN-based network, sending messages about utility usage at intervals. The network then pushes this information to Cloud-based applications for analysis and is accessed by the home or business owners through their smartphone or other connected device.
