The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Bobbie Jo Bloom as a 2018-2019 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in business and entrepreneurship. Bobbie Jo Bloom began her career as a Clerk/Carrier with the US Postal Service. Through hard work and perseverance, she eventually moved into the management and safety industry. “I was inspired to work in the safety arena and worked diligently to ensure that operations involved safety as their standard working mindset in all operations,” she said.

Ms. Bloom has worked in the industry for 25 years and has earned numerous industry certifications. She uses the skills she has honed, including her exceptional communication skills, in her role as Safety Manager and Trainer where she is responsible for developing safety regulations, progressive management training, reporting of Workers’ Compensation, employee training and the development of safety operations plan and response measures.

“It can be challenging to help develop a pro-active mindset within the work environments to safety, but it is the most rewarding experience to watch a team build strength in their overall performance by adopting safety as their core mindset and response,” added Ms. Bloom. “I plan to continue to grow, learn and develop safety as our ‘core’ mindset in all of our work environments to ensure our employees go home to their families safe!”

In addition to her work as a Safety Manager and Trainer, Ms. Bloom is a professional Business and Life Coach, a Prison Ministry Coach/Trainer and a Young Lives Mentor. She is also the published Author of five children’s books: "Brace This!," "Tornado Lane," "A Voice with No Name," "Kablooey" and "Thunder Filled with a Father’s Love."
