In trading on Friday, shipping shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.9%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Yangtze River Port and Logistics (YRIV), down about 10.1% and shares of Ardmore Shipping (ASC) down about 5.2% on the day.
