In trading on Thursday, non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 3%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Century Aluminum Company (CENX), off about 13.2% and shares of Commercial Metals Company (CMC) down about 7.5% on the day.
