Salt Lake City, UT - February 20, 2018 - (Newswire.com)

The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) has recognized Alternative Behavior Strategies for the second time with a 2-Year Re-Accreditation, acknowledging the organization as a top behavioral service provider in the country. The BHCOE Accreditation recognizes exceptional behavioral health providers that excel in the areas of clinical quality, staff satisfaction and qualifications, and consumer satisfaction. To earn Re-Accreditation, the provider must maintain standards of quality between accreditation evaluations. These measures include maintaining high staff satisfaction, high caregiver satisfaction, and appropriate low staff turnover.

Founder of BHCOE, Sarah Gershfeld, said “We are excited to congratulate Jeff Skibitsky and his team on running a top-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program and we are very proud to award them a 2-year Re-Accreditation as a BHCOE. Alternative Behavior Strategies is an incredible resource for the autism communities in Utah, California, and now North Carolina as well. They originally earned accreditation in 2016 and achieved BHCOE’s Top Clinical Quality score of all providers for the year. Their re-accreditation highlights their how committed they are to maintaining top quality standards and how dedicated their team is to striving to be the best for their clients. They continue to reflect standards of excellence across all aspects of the services they provide.

BHCOE Accreditation is the only ABA-specific accreditation. It provides feedback regarding clinical best practices, staff satisfaction and turnover, and consumer protection. Acting as a third-party, the organization systematically measures and reports on existing quality criteria in the behavior analysis community using standardized methods and practices, and accredits only those service agencies that meet these standards.

CEO and Co-founder of ABS, Jeff Skibitsky, proudly accepts the Re-Accreditation by saying “Receiving the BHCOE Accreditation reflects our priority of holding ourselves to high standards while working to elevate the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. At Alternative Behavior Strategies, we hold the quality of care we provide to the highest caliber. Our team of dedicated professionals are passionate about providing ABA therapy and believe the needs of the families we care for should always be our first priority,”
