RSports Inc., the first virtual baseball league, announced veteran sports video game designer Eddie Dombrower as head of product development.

Dombrower is renowned for designing the groundbreaking “Intellivision World Series Baseball” video game along with Don Daglow. He and Daglow later created the popular “Earl Weaver Baseball” video game, which helped pave the way for EA Sports. He has many other game titles to his credit including “Return to Zork,” “Muppets Inside,” “NCAA Road to the Final Four,” “NBA Legends” and others.

“Eddie’s inventiveness in product design is well-regarded. He helped transform the gaming industry in the 1980s and continues to push boundaries today,” said Tory Hernandez, RSports co-founder and CEO. “The merging of our vision for RSports Baseball and his gifts for both product and software design resulted in this next-generation virtual sports platform, which is taking off with baseball fans.”

As the Head of Product Development, Dombrower not only brings to life the dream of RSports co-owners Tory and Tony Hernandez, but he also helps guide the direction of the platform based on his decades of game design expertise.
