C.H. Robinson, a global third party logistics (3PL) company, and its Las Vegas office contributed to a month-long, company-wide, employee-led giving campaign. This year’s campaign raised a total of $791,000 for a variety of charities, including Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. In addition to the Robinson Cares campaign fundraising, employees accumulated more than 1,450 volunteer hours, helping their neighbors in need.

The Las Vegas employees participated at Candlelighters’ Superhero 5K fundraising event. Employees worked at a booth, and dressed as their favorite superheroes. They handed out Frisbees and candy and provided superhero-themed face painting and temporary tattoos to the children. Additionally, the office supplied bottled water to individuals who donated their time to work the day of the event. “We were thrilled to do our part to help make this year’s Superhero 5K a memorable event for children with cancer,” said Anthony Rivero, account manager at C.H. Robinson. “We look forward to working with Candlelighters in the future to provide these children the financial and emotional support they so desperately need.”
