NEW HUDSON, Mich. - Oct. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- As we approach the parades and speeches of Veterans Day, a group of Michigan volunteers is fighting to keep returned soldiers safe from foreclosure, evictions, utility shut-offs, car repossession and hunger … and you may already be part of the effort without knowing it.
The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund (FWSF), based in Michigan, acts as a financial emergency room for post 9/11 veterans slipping through the cracks of the VA system. The all-volunteer team work from their homes to achieve a 97 percent give rate.
One of the largest ever donations to FWSF comes at the perfect time. Please join us on Thursday, October 29th at 4:00 PM EST at the Feldman Chevrolet of Livonia, located at 32570 Plymouth Rd, to partake in an inspiring event. With the collective efforts of all eight locations, Feldman Auto is honored to award $50,000 to the Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund. This contribution alone will aid in the financial stability of thousands of soldiers.
